BrendaNEWMANIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Newman, who died peacefully on 29 August 2025, aged 89.

Born in Newcastle-under-Lyme in 1936, Brenda was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. Her life was defined by love, quiet strength, and an unwavering commitment to her family, who were always at the heart of everything she did. Brenda is deeply missed by her children Paul, Darren, and Timothy; her sister Christine, her brother Alan, and her cherished grandchildren Holly, Samantha, Katrina, and Poppy.

A funeral service will be held at Bradwell Crematorium on Thursday 18 September at 1.20pm, followed by a wake at Wolstanton Social Club on Pitgreen Lane. All who knew Brenda are welcome to attend and celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Age UK in memory of Brenda.
